Jersey Shore avoids bad situation
As Hurricane Irene lashed against the East Coast this weekend, houses flooded, power went out and winds whipped through the region. Up to $1 billion in damages is expected. But the sliver of land known as the Seaside Heights, New Jersey — a beach “Jersey Shore” cast members have visited — saw little damage.
