Adventures in Communicating a New Alice

The new musical “Wonderland,” set to open on Broadway in March, tells the classic Alice in Wonderland story through the eyes of an adult Alice living in New York City. Below are five rejected poster designs for the show — and the final artwork (bottom right). All were created by John Turner, a lead designer for the merchandising firm Creative Goods Design & Supply.
