A New Variation in Boarding an Airplane
Since checked-bag fees have become ubiquitous, more passengers now carry bags onto the plane. This can result in lines while boarding. In a new seating procedure being used by American Airlines, passengers are grouped randomly, so that their seats are scattered throughout the plane.
