A cover-up at Wimbledon’s renowned Centre Court
This year’s Wimbledon, June 22-July 5, will have a new look. Centre Court is sporting a new a retractable roof to protect players, spectators and the grass court from inclement weather. On average, it rains one of every three days in London during June and July, and rain twice delayed last year’s men’s final between Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer.
