9/11 Inside the Port Authority Tapes

The Port Authority has released about 2,000 pages of documents, most of them transcribed radio transmissions, from dozens of people in and around the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001.

The transcripts cover 260 hours. They begin a moment before the first plane struck at 8:46 a.m., and continue for nearly two hours after the final collapse at 10:28 a.m.
